Prevent the prohibition of wearing the Islamic headscarf within the workplace
ECJ states there is no discrimination prohibiting headscarf in the workplace. This is a clear discrimination btwn one who chooses to practice a religion as opposed to one who chooses not to.
Regardless of race, religion, culture, preference. Look at qualifications & attributes not the appearance
The ECJ has ruled that companies can ban employees from wearing the hijab, but only as part of prohibitions including other religious symbols.
Employers are entitled to set dress codes for their workforce but the law is clear that these dress codes must be reasonable. Employers should not be discriminating against women in what they require them to wear.
