Allow non resident Scots to vote in IndyRef2 as long as they are UK based
I moved to live in the South East of the UK in 1974 because I couldn't get a job in Dundee where I was born. I have lived here since then and have married and raised my children here. However I still have family in Dundee and care deeply about Scotland.
The Scottish diaspora is well known. The vast majority of this has occurred for economic reasons consequently it should not be assumed that geographical separation equates to absence of caring. I have no doubt that exiled Scots can bring a wider perspective to the referendum deliberations and deserve to have their voices heard.
