Put a return 2/3p on cans/bottles to clean up our glass-ridden streets.
People are sick and tired of seeing broken glass strewn in gutters, on pavements and on roads. We must respond and pay for the return of bottles and cans to make for safer streets.
Returns on bottles and cans in many countries have seen a decline in this contemptible rubbish so much so I cannot believe we have not restored what was available years ago.
