Ban international shipping of all sizes from dumping anything into the sea.
It is a huge embarrassment that this still occurs at all! Giant waste islands floating around the size of Texas?! We should be very ashamed of ourselves. And now they have decided that cancerous waste plastics are making there way into the food chain. This is very urgent.

The UK Government and Parliament can't change international shipping law. You could ask the UK Government to work with the governments of other countries to make this change.
