Relax airport security for aircraft crew

Currently, airline crew are subjected to stricter security checks than passengers, despite their airside clearances and background checks.

Airline cabin crew and pilots have free access to all areas of the aircraft, including the heavily protected flight deck and controls. What is the point in harassing airline crew, confiscating their drinks, toothpaste and deodorant, when each and every one of them could bring down an aircraft with their bare hands if they had the desire.

It is humiliating for staff, it is frustrating and it is completely pointless. Stop this nonsense!
