Petition for a Consume By label on all food/drink products

Additional Information

We throw away tonnes of food and drink which is perfectly edible because of the unclear guidelines labelled on food/drinks packaging. Many people assume the "Use by" label states when food/drink is no longer edible. I propose the Government make legislation for all food or drinks packaging to include a "Consume By" label, indicating when products will no longer safe to consume.
