Abolish the TV license and make BBC pay per view
In this day and age and with the change over to digital tv and the fact that now you can pick and choose you tv viewings it is high time that the TV license was abolished.
As the BBC is supposed to be there for the public then surely the public have the right to say I don't watch the BBC so therefore I don't wish to have it included in my tv package.
Give the public the right to choose to watch it and pay for it or to not have it on their tv package.
This would be a much fairer way of paying for the BBC and the people that want to watch can pay via the tv pay per view method as you do for packages like Sky Sport or movies and ESPN it wouldn't be difficult to do and then the BBC would only be for those who choose to watch it and pay.
