Petition Action

Osborne to resign for a by-election to seek voters' consent for his many jobs.

Petition Details

George Osborne's election was before accepting a very time-consuming job as an editor of a newspaper. This is a material and significant change in circumstances which was not in his manifesto. No electors knew of intention to be absent or create a conflict of interest with role as privy councillor.

Additional Information

This is a democratic issue rather than a party political one.
