This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure how you would like electors' understanding to be tested, the issues which would be examined or what threshold of knowledge and understanding would be required.

We're also not sure whether you are asking for a test to apply to voters, to candidates or to both.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
