Longer sentences for paedophilia crimes, no half sentences made available to them, age and health should not be taken into consideration!
The Sex Offenders Act of 2003 needs updating, to better protect children from peadophiles. The current sentencing is too short and half sentences should not be given based on good behaviour or age. The sentencing for paedophilia should be raised from the current 1-4 years and life imprisonement should be given at the judges discretion. The effects on the defendant should not be a considering factor when sentencing is given.
