Petition Action

Government refund the tax payer for NHS funded, non-emergent cosmetic procedures

Petition Details

Patients have access to tax payer funded cosmetic procedures when non urgent/non necessary e.g breast enlargement. This is whilst cancer patients do not receive drug treatments as the NHS can not fund them. Government should refund tax payer for improper use of funding and put into life saving care!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure what you mean by "Government refund the tax payer". You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for non-emergency cosmetic surgery not to be available on the NHS in England.
