Declare 1st May a national holiday to celebrate the Union of the United Kingdom
We, the undersigned, believe that the 1st of May should be marked as a national holiday and be declared "Union Day" to celebrate the creation of the United Kingdom which was born out of the historic Act of Union of 1707.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
1 May is already a national holiday, so we're not sure what action you'd like the Government or Parliament to take.
