Change the law in bulling and cyber bullying More serious punishment.

Petition Details

Too many children taking their own lives via bulling or cyber bullying. Being told to kill themselves and actually proceeding with it. Why isnt there a more serious punishment. Why dont theses poor children have much support or help. Stricter laws against bullying.

Additional Information

Bullying itself is not a specific criminal offence in the UK.
Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year. For every suicide among young people, there are at least 100 suicide attempts. Over 14 percent of students have considered suicide, and almost 7 percent have attempted it.
