Make it illegal for Members of Parliament to have a second job.
George Osborne has just taken on the job of Editor of the London Standard, which is in addition to other paid jobs, and will be a conflict of interest with his job as an M.P.
Mr Osborne is not the only MP with outside interests, for which many of them receive substantial remuneration. The electorate has lost all faith and trust in politicians, and examples such as Mr Orborne taking on full time work - in addition to his responsibilities as an MP - is making a mockery of parliamentary principles, a laughing stock of paliamentarians, and shows absolutely no respect for the British public.
