Stop MP's having additional job roles, which could benefit themselves or others.
Members of parliament should act in the interest of the people they are chosen to represent. Many MPs have additional roles which should be seen as a conflict of interest. Can a member of parliament act impartially in their roles if they are offering their services to private companies?
MPs like George Osborne has recently announced he will be the editor of the evening standard, he could use his new media role to extend his influence.
Jack Straw and Sir Malcolm Rifkind were covertly filmed offering their position of influence to private firms.
