Reopen the search for a new electricity pylon design
T-Pylon, the chosen winner of the pylon design competition, looks like every other medium voltage line that currently crosses the countryside. Notwithstanding its lower height it is as obtrusive as the current design and has little aesthetic merit. Stark, boring, inorganic and not particularly innovative. Could it be that it will be the cheapest to build and maintain?
