Start a policy of ignoring other countries human rights records and abuses.
1.Interference can lead to intervention. Which can lead us to having expensive wars.
2. We are not a superpower lets not like act one.
3.Only intervene when directly asked such as Sierra Leone rather than force ourselves such as Iraq.
4. Let Amnesty international get someone else to do its dirty work.
5. Just because The Guardian does not lake it does mean the UK government should not not like it. The Uk government is elected by UK electorate not The Guardian
