Enforce companies to pay employees based on their work ethic - not their age!
As a teenage student i know how it feels to be paid rock bottom for working as hard as people who have a few extra years under their belt - I want the government to consider working with companies and businesses to pay people based on how hard they work not on their age!
National Minimum Wage is a subject that many people discuss, whether it be for or against - I want to make a change that will encourage employers to pay their hard working employees more if they work hard to achieve it. For far too long i have thought "I'm working just as hard as that 25 year old over there, yet he is getting nearly double my wages" - to increase the wages of young people it would encourage independence, self-discipline and organisation skills - as is stands - young people don't want to work.
