Acknowledge the overwhelming evidence against Assad's use of detention centres
The Assad regime has captured thousands of innocent civilians; their families and friends unaware where they are and if they're even alive. In light of the overwhelming evidence, the government has a duty as a world leader in Human Rights to act upon this dreadful act of terror being committed.
As a leader in Human Rights the government should take a firm stance in the Human Rights courts and bring justice to the people of Syria. The UK has interfered countless times when it believed that Human Rights were being targeted, so why not now? I believe this is an opportunity to show what impact our small nation can have and finally get justice for the tens of thousands missing Syrians.
