Stop people starving to death instead of renovating the Houses of Parliament

Petition Details

The world is currently facing one of the worst humanitarian crisis in history. 20 million people across Africa are facing starvation. In the UK, government is proposing spending in excess of 3.5 billion on renovating parliament. These funds would be better spent preventing loss of life.

Additional Information

Clearly a building is needed, and alternative sites have been suggested both inside and outside of London. Parliament is a magnificent building, but repairs to a building simply cannot be prioritised over people's lives.
