Stop HS2 and reprieve threatened communities in East/West Midlands and Yorkshire
Consider cheaper alternatives to HS2. For example; improve East/West links and invest in digital connectivity to serve the "Northern Powerhouse"; re-classify first-class carriages; research the "Metro" idea and re-schedule timetables to boost capacity; complete proposed electrification projects.
