Extension of the TPD amnesty till a time it's dealt with in our houses of law
On the 20th May 2016, a year’s amnesty was given to all companies and affiliates to put these laws into place.
We the consumer and other affiliates are asking that this amnesty be extended with regard to e-cigarettes and technology associated.
We ask that this stays in place until such a time that we have finalised leaving the EU.
Evident Appeals are seen all over the parliament.uk website, this ammasses to 15+ appeals attaining over the necessary 100,000 signatures, all have been rejected. These have been rejected not on the grounds of adequate health information or assessment. Rather they interfere with EU law that overrules UK law.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The issue you raise is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament. The Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) is an EU Directive. You could start a new petition asking for the UK Government to work with other EU member states to change the TPD, or to change the law on e-cigarettes after the UK leaves the EU.
