Make it illegal to ride a bike on the road when there are cycle tracks parallel
Cyclists are hit when there are perfectly good cycle tracks next to roads. When the cycle track is available it should be a legal requirement to use it, not to ride on the road at that point. The cycle track is only there on roads which are dangerous without it, this is a danger for bikes and cars!
Everyday occurance, an example is a man hit in Nottingham, cycling on a road which had blind inner corners and also solid white lines... drivers constantly struggle to overtake as not enough room is left. There is a cycle track runnin parallel with the road, it should be used! This happens in a lot of places around the country
