Give Armed Forces and NHS the 1.3% pay rise and MP's the 1% Pay rise.
Armed forces and NHS staff where given a 1% pay rise in the 2017 review whilst MP's where given a 1.3% pay rise. This amounts to less than £5 per week it's a derisory amount in the face of rising fuel, food and transport cost increasing.
This unfair settlement is yet more evidence of the government's failure to invest in the NHS. Imposing a 1% increase is an insult to our selfless NHS and Armed forces who keep us safe day in day out.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
You can find out how to contact IPSA here:

You could start a new petition calling for an increase in pay for the armed forces and NHS staff.
