Stop NICE and NHS decision to deny access to new medicines for rare illnesses
Fund thresholds on new medicines for rare illnesses? What does this mean for people suffering from a rare illness, very little treatment available and funding needed for treatment?
Unless we act now from 1April 2017, it will become almost impossible for accessiable medicine.
NICE and NHS England’s decision to deny access to new medicines from 1 April 2017 for those suffering from ultra-rare diseases is not an April Fool’s Joke says the MPS Society. Without a PAUSE to reconsider the impact of this decision children and young adults will be condemn
A consultation by NICE and NHS England on changes to the arrangements for evaluating and funding medicines could potentially stop the flow of new medicines reaching patients with rare and complex diseases.
