Permanently put a ban on estate agents fees.
In October 2016 , i viewed a property in Essex i very much enjoyed liked. I ask how much the fees was , and was shocked. The agent was telling me the total cost would be to move in
£1850.00. This included the deposit and inventory checks.
Was so shocked as the flats was only
£550 per month.
In November 2016 we the tenants was overjoyed by the announcement of Estate agents fees. Since that time nothing has happened , and many estate agents are still getting away with ripping us tenants off.
Prices averaging Estate agents are charging.
£360.00 +vat for Tenancy agreement
£100.00 for a guarantee if required.
£60.00 Checkout fee.
£120.00 Inventory check.
£995.00 Deposit..
How are they getting away with all these fees. Enough is Enough we want action not words or promises.
