Prevent the removal of housing benefit from young people aged 18-21
If the government removes housing benefits from young people aged 18-21 this could cause thousands of young people to become homeless.
Centrepoint say it "could force thousands of young people onto the streets".
Crisis say the policy is "destructive" and "runs entirely counter to the ministers' aim to bring down homelessness.
This policy will mean that young people aged 18-21 will have to live at home with parents if they can't afford to rent. However, some young people can't stay with parents/friends, therefore it could result in such persons becoming homeless.
Housing benefit changes will proceed on April 1st.
