Domestic abusers to face prosecution when their victim's statement is withdrawn.
Many victims of domestic abuse withdraw statements (retraction of allegations) - resulting in their abuser not facing prosecution. This needs to change to protect the victims and to ensure abusers are given the punishment they deserve.
