Petition Action

The UK govt should refuse any EU attempts to extort an 'exit fee' from the UK

Petition Details

The govt must refuse entirely any `Brexit Bill`, for example, the rumoured £50 billion bill that the EU negotiators will present.

Additional Information

We note the Lords report dismissing the validity of any claim.

The UK has consistently been a net contributor to the EU budget

The EU has hidden its accounts for 20 yrs.

We note report of the Civitas organisation , proposing that the EU potentially owes the UK upto £1 trillion as, amongst many failings, compensation for its inability to agree Free Trade Agreements with Japan and the US, amongst others.
