All referendums that involve a contitional changes must require a supermajority
Such as exiting the EU and Independence for Scotland are such important constitutional changes that they should require the assent of a supermajority in any referendum. A simple majority ( eg 1 vote over 50%) based on turnout is not acceptable. Such a supermajority could be two-thirds of turnout.
