Supermakets to provide free carrier bags to customers as 5p bags run out often.
Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury customers filling up their shopping baskets, only realize it at the checkout that 5p bags are out of stock. Cashiers annoy them by offering to pay for a 10p bag. Its like forcing them to pay extra.
There should be a clear sign displayed to alert the incoming customers. Somtimes customers select extra items as they plan not to go shopping everyday. Its embarrasing to leave the extra shopping items at checkout. Supermarkets should give free bags as its not customers fault.Or they should have extra stock of bags for busy times.

This is the responsibility of supermarkets, not the UK Government or Parliament.
