Stop the Bank of England using palm oil to make the new £20 notes

Petition Details

The Bank of England is considering using palm oil to make the new £20 notes. Palm oil has a devastating effect on the environment and on wildlife such as Orangutans. Ask the UK government to use a alternative in the new £20 notes.

Additional Information

Palm oil has a devastating effect on our planets eco system. Palm oil plantations are a major cause of deforestation, causing great harm to our planet and loss of natural wild life habitats , especially the endangered Orangutans. Sign this petition and ask the UK government to use a more sustainable oil such as coconut oil in the new £20 notes.
