Give Public Sector Contractors on IR35 same rights and benefits as PAYE staff.
Since no adequate response given to recent petition by Gareth P Rowell about latest IR35 reforms:
Please answer how its fair to deem Public Sector Contractors (PSC’s) pay exactly the same rate of tax as 'risk averse' permanent staff, when the latter receive many valuable benefits by default?
Permanent employment benefits include:
28 weeks Statutory Sick Pay, pension, maternity and paternity pay, long-term job security, gap-less employment, free training, courses, employment dismissal rights and finally of course, an average of 6 WEEKS ANNUAL LEAVE plus many other benefits.
