We ask that Lord Howard´s remarks about Gibraltar are withdrawn
Lord Howard´s remarks about Gibraltar are counter-productive during a period of sensitive negotiations. They are already in Spanish newspapers and have the potential to cause a deterioration in the relations between the UK and Spain, leaving British citizens there in a vulnerable position
I quote a headline from EL Mundo, one of Spain´s largest newspapers. El ex líder conservador Michael Howard asegura que May iría a la guerra para defender Gibraltar.
