Diesel Cars Bought after Gordon Brown subsidised Diesel Exempt from Future Tax
Diesel Car owners who were coerced into buying diesel with lower Road tax and subsidies are now being penalised by the future tax rises for entering cities and individual councils will be able to levy there own tax as they see fit.
Diesel Car owners were told diesel is a safer more efficient fuel. Road tax was moved to as low as £20 a year for some Engines. The government fully endorsed the use of Diesels.
Now as a Diesel owner we find ourselves under attack from the government by having huge fines/Tax and levys put on our "originally Government Endorsed Fuel choice"
Due to this, our car values have lowered those on a PCP, Finance or HP are all going to be in negative equity. 8.1m Diesel drivers into debt.
