Selling Bottled water in Airport shops at inflated prices a criminal offence.
A topic few people know that much about, is dehydration from air travel. Especially when you’re on a long-haul flight to the other side of the world. People get dehydrated on flights more than say doing a lot of walking because of one thing: a lack of humidity.
Prevent 'airside' vendors of bottled water charging higher prices for water than the equivalent bottle in UK shops. There cannot be any justification for this except sheer profiting from a captive audience.
Average price of 750ml bottled water in UK supermarkets = 85p
Price I was charged for a 750ml of bottled Airport water = £1.80

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for the price of water sold by shops at airports.
