All plastics used should be made from recycled products or should be recyclable.
LOTS of plastic is not recyclable – this is VERY BAD as it all goes to landfill & goes into the sea, then fish eat bits, then so do we, as we eat fish. Everyone knows, eating plastic is very bad for you!
So why don’t we make it law; every bit of plastic we use, must be recyclable or biodegradable?

We all see how much waste plastic goes into our landfill black rubbish bins.
The most often used, optical scanner for plastic sorting cannot "see" black plastic. Black plastic contaminates all other recycled plastics - so any black plastic that gets mixed in with other recyclables cannot be used as the end product doesn't look nice - as it is dirty or spotty looking - so has no value.
