Review policy promoting diet drinks to children & sweeteners in regular drinks.
Lack of openness and discussion: insufficient evidence about long-term effects of sweeteners generally, and additional concerns about specific ones for children, namely aspartame – on food labels – and related neotame and advantame, not necessarily listed on the label. Promoted as healthy options!

Eur J Clin Nutr. 2007;61:691-700 Diabetes Care. 2012;35:1798-808. Am J Clin Nutr. 2013;97(3):517-23.) by Harvard SPH concluded children should not be given beverages where sweeteners have been used: review of 72 studies, pub.
