Remove the age restrictions from the national living wage to ensure fair pay
You could be the best employee your company has at 18 years old yet your older counterparts would receive more due to age discrimination in the minimum wage guidelines.
If the responsibilities are the same and the job role is the same then the wage should be the same.
No other type of discrimination is legally allowed in the workplace, why age discrimination is allowed is unknown to me but it is unfair to those hard working young people who get a bad reputation and branded lazy but yet are being told by the government that they aren't worthy of fair pay. Young people work hard, they should be paid fairly.
