charity begins at home
Whilst fully understanding the needs of those in under developed countries we believe, that in this time of crisis in the u.k, the Government should cut overseas aid and concentrate resources on helping to improve the quality of life of the poor here, especially the elderly and young.
To offer billions in aid to corrupt regimes would appear to be a shortsighted political gesture which is totally innappropriate when many at home are genuinely suffering. The time to increase aid to others is when you have put your own house in order.
