Make it a legal requirement that all Halal meat is clearly labelled.
Halal meat is increasingly available in the UK as a number of faiths can only eat meat from animals that has not been stunned prior to slaughter.
Likewise, many people, given the choice would avoid eating Halal meat as they do not agree with slaughtering an animal that has not been stunned.
I believe that people should be clearly informed of the slaughter method used so that an people can make a choice based on their own beliefs.
Therefore all supermarkets, butchers, restaurants etc. should clearly display on packaging and menus the method of slaughter for any meat product.
