That the Government set aside one day a year as Forces Day
The City of Nottingham have disbanded the Forces Day because of funding. Once this has been confirmed and carried out other councils will follow. Forces day hels recruiting and understanding the forces way of life.

National armed forces day will take place on Saturday 24 June 2017, so we are not sure what further action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
Nottingham city council's involvement in national armed forces day is the responsibility of Nottingham city council, not the UK Government or Parliament.
