Set a legal minimum body size for mannequins displaying clothes in shops
Clothing mannequins are often too thin. Many portray unrealistic body sizes/shapes that are unhealthy if not impossible to achieve. It promotes serious self-esteem issues and eating disorders. We should feel beautiful without sacrificing our health. A minimum mannequin size is a step towards this.
1)Barbies with more realistic figures have been developed. Why can't we do the same with the bodies that display the very clothes we wear? 2)It effects men and women but young girls are particularly vulnerable. Eating disorders are one type of a serious condition fuelled by this ridiculous image. 3)Physical AND mental health is at risk and this could easily be avoided 4)one news article: https://au.be.yahoo.com/lifestyle/a/34933378/topshop-mannequins-spark-outrage-for-being-too-thin-yahoo7-be/
