Compensate Railtrack Shareholders
The Railtrack Shareholders did not receive a fair deal under the last Labour Government. The property assets, a key component of the value of the shares, were creatively reduced. There needs to be an inquiry that can monitor the actions of the then Minister Stephen Byers, and can recommend to Government a fairer value for the shares to compensate former shareholders.
