Make all packaging be marked with standard recycling symbols.
To increase the amount of recycling and help prevent contamination is simple - just ensure manufacturers mark all packaging with the standard symbols.
It can be difficult to tell what can be recycled and what can not. For example, most people thought that paper coffee cups could be recycled when they could not - luckily some recycling of these cups is now happening. But the public is rightly confused about other items, so lets make it easier for everyone by marking packaging.
