Diplomatic pressure and sanctions on Chechnya/Russia to close gay death camps
Chechnya, a federal subject of Russia, has opened concentration camps where gay men are being abused, tortured and murdered according to local LGBT+ campaigners.
Prisoners are being reportedly tortured with electric shocks and some beaten to death.
We are calling on the UK Government to impose diplomatic pressure and sanctions on the Chechen and Russian authorities until the camps are closed and all LGBT+ people are released.
