Bring down the age of screening for Breast Cancer! ????
There are too many young women being diagnosed with Primary and Secondary Breast Cancer, there needs to be screenings from a younger age and G.P's need to be more educated in symptoms and referrals for women with symptoms.
I was told I was too young for my Breast symptoms to be anything sinister, it took 6 months for my Breast Cancer to be diagnosed. I'm 34 and unfortunately just one in a huge amount of young women to be diagnosed, to be told there too young and to have a delayed diagnosis.
The Breast screening age needs to be lowered and health professionals need to be more educated on cancer affecting any age!
