Petition Action

Re-evaluate the scrapping of child benefit

Additional Information

Change the methodology behind child benefit cuts as it is biased against households with a parent who stays at home. Basing cuts on one person's wages in a household is unfair. Some households take in £70000 and are still entitled to child benefit. Others take in £46000 and lose their child benefit. A fairer system is required.
