Petition Action

Teach critical thinking in schools.

Petition Details

Include critical thinking in the school syllabus. Teach pupils how to objectively analyze and evaluate an issue to form a judgment.

Additional Information

This will be beneficial to the pupil in all areas of life, giving them the skills to identify, analyse and solve problems systematically rather than by intuition or instinct.
In today's world, children have access to more information than at any other point in history, and the ability to rationally evaluate that information is essential. In teaching the value of critical thinking we would ensure that our young people are less susceptible to manipulation.
