Petition Action

We want a "None of the above" option for every general election

Petition Details

There are a lot of things that NEED to be improved within our democratic system, but we have to start somewhere.
We should have a "None of the above" option on our ballot papers for every vote, for those who want to vote but not for the options presented, and the result is a contract to the people.

Additional Information

Having a none of the above option will help improve our democratic system and allow it to be the best in the world. A "None of the above" option is just the starting point, with other improvements be easily implemented afterwards, such as -

1. The Prime Minister signs a contract to the people when elected, making the, accountable for their action under common law.
2. Making voting mandatory, or requiring a minimum of 75% turnout to be valid.
3. Re-engaging the people with updated politics
